Senior Consultant and Executive Coach

Brian Cunningham, Senior Consultant and Executive Coach with Leadership Excelleration, has over 25 years of diverse experience in executive coaching, strategic planning, operations leadership, quality improvement, and organizational development.

Brian began his career at General Electric in their Leadership Development Program focusing on operations improvement – earning his Six Sigma Blackbelt – and participating on GE’s Corporate Audit Staff. He continued his career in operations leadership with United Technologies before joining Definity Partners, a business improvement consulting start-up, as a senior principal. After helping grow the firm over four-fold, Brian’s desire to have a more significant impact directly on the lives of executives led him to open a consulting practice to provide strategic planning, organizational development, and executive coaching services, all in one. Brian entered healthcare by joining Cincinnati Children’s James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence to align his passion for the type of work he loved to do with a mission that would have a significant impact on the lives of children and their families. He also led their organizational development staff.

Now, Brian continues to create meaningful and sustainable impact through consulting, coaching, and developing executives and leaders.

Brian holds an engineering degree from University of Cincinnati, a masters in strategic management from Harvard, and coaching certificates from Coach U and Corporate Coach U with focuses in business and executive coaching. He has served clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to seasoned C-level executives, in both for-profits and nonprofits, and across a wide variety of industries.
